Blue Lagoon is seven miles east of Port Antonio, surrounded by steep hillsides and dense green vegetation. Some claim it to be “bottomless”, but experts proclaim it to be about 200 feet at its deepest point. The lagoon is made up of sea water entering from the surface; the surface of the lagoon meets the surface of the Caribbean Sea. You can customize this tour by adding more attractions, such as places like Frenchman Cove, Reach Falls, Boston Bay, Long Bay Beach and more.
Relax and let us take you on the tour of a lifetime whether you’re located in Montego Bay, Falmouth, Ocho Rios, Negril or Jamaica’s South Coast
You will be picked up from and returned to your desired location whether it is your hotel or guest house.
To be arranged
When you first arrive, you may notice that the lagoon looks familiar to you. If you’ve seen the Brooke Shields’ movie, The Blue Lagoon, then you’ll know why.
Interestingly enough, the lagoon was once called “The Blue Hole,” but with the popularity of the movie, the lagoon’s name was permanently changed to “The Blue Lagoon.”
The water seems to have a bit of magic to it, as the colour changes throughout the day, depending upon the way the sun shines upon the surface. When you first arrive, the water can look turquoise but you may notice that during your boat ride, the water changes to a deeper sapphire or even royal blue.
